In the run up to Christmas, get your running shoes out and join in the festive family fun.

We may not be able to join together but we can still celebrate with our annual Santa Run – virtually!

WHEN

Our official Santa Run will be launched by our patron, Natasha Kaplinsky, at 11am on Friday 11^th December, when the Bevern View staff and residents will be running in their Covid secure bubbles in Barcombe so please do give us a cheer if you see us go racing by!  We’ll be running from Bevern View to the recreation field and back again!

As a virtual Santa Run, this means that you are free to choose a date and time to suit you throughout December.

WHERE

In the park, in your garden, on the beach, in the woods, through the forest – anywhere you like!

Just choose your own distance, don your favourite Santa hat or suit, add tinsel to your trainers and you’re off – run, jog, walk, push, scoot, cycle or even on horseback!

Open to all ages, you can run alone, in pairs, in family bubbles or in your social bubble. Please do adhere to social distancing guidelines whilst taking part.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

With no sign-up fee or minimum sponsorship there’ll be no stopping the festive fundraising.

To get started simply visit our Virtual Santa Run JustGiving page and you’re ready to go! There are then 3 options for how you can raise money;

1. You can set up your own fundraising page by clicking the start fundraising button on our page.  Then you will need to create a Just Giving Account if you don’t have one/or log in if you do.  Then click on the Fitness at Home Option to set up your own page.  You can then send the link from your page to friends, family and work colleagues.
2. You can do the run and can simply press the donate button on our page.
3. Or if you prefer not to run, you can simply support our campaign by making a donation and encouraging other runners!

SANTA SUITS FOR SALE. 

For just a £5 donation, we’d love you to drop into our reception to collect a Santa suit or hat to race in.  Please call on 01273 400752 to book and arrange collection.

The permission of a parent/guardian is required for all participants under the age of 16.
