We are incredibly proud to announce that the Bradbury Foundation has awarded The Bevern Trust a transformational grant of £400,000 towards our Space to Thrive Appeal.
This extraordinary contribution represents a significant step forward in making our vision for Bevern View a reality. The Foundation’s generosity will enable us to create high quality, purpose designed spaces that enhance daily life for our current residents and for those who will call Bevern View home in the years to come.
The impact of this gift cannot be overstated. As well as providing improved facilities that promote wellbeing, independence and meaningful activity for the people we support, the new spaces will also create a more welcoming, practical and uplifting environment for our dedicated support staff. By investing in better facilities, we are investing in the people who care for our residents every day – helping us to attract, support and retain the skilled and compassionate team that makes Bevern View such a special place.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our supporters, we have raised enough funding to begin construction on our new activity extension and office building.
We are now continuing to fundraise towards the remaining amount needed to fit out and equip these new spaces and to complete essential refurbishment work. This includes specialist equipment such as an integrated overhead hoist system, audio-visual equipment for the activity room, built-in storage, and the refurbishment of our lounge to create a calm, welcoming space for residents and their families.
With your continued support, we can ensure these new spaces are fully equipped to meet the complex needs of our residents — creating a place where they can truly thrive.
