The rain held off and all our residents joined in with the Barcombe Jubilee festivities, launched by Pippa Dames-Longworth, an Operatic Mezzo and local resident. leading us in singing the national anthem, followed by lunch with tables and chairs beautifully arranged up the high street with sandwiches andcakes provided by the community and then straight into the hotly anticipated “beer races’ before everyone headed over to the rec for stalls, games, and a disco.

Our residents so much enjoyed being a part of their community on such a memorable occasion. Barcombe residents loved our Platinum Jubilee pinbadges and children’s craft activities so a huge thanks to the Making a Difference Locally’ fund for making this possible.
