The Bevern View Olympics week 1 Round up

THE BEVERN VIEW OLYMPICS DAY 3 & 4:

Day 3 we saw Amy complete the final of the SHOOTING with 38 points. This was enough for 6th place meaning the Gold went to Holly, Silver to JP and Chloe and simon stayed in the bronze position.

Day 4 was our busiest day for medals so far. Mark dominated the track events, winning gold in the 25m power chair SPRINT, 50m power chair SPRINT as well as the 25m HURDLES (obstacles).

Mark continued to shine in the field events too, pulling off a magnificent DISCUS throw to win Gold.

James grabbed his first Gold of the games in a hard fought TRIPLE JUMP where he drove for 5 seconds forwards, 7 seconds backwards then a further 7 seconds forward. He was just half a chair ahead of Holly in silver. Chloe snatched the bronze.

JP and Saleem showed real grit in the manual chair SPRINT time trials but we wait for Jonathan and Amy to complete that final.
