Lewes Santa Run 2019 | 7th December

Booking closes on Friday 6th at 15:00pm

Lewes Santa Run is a festive fundraiser and the perfect start for some Christmas cheer. Join hundreds of Santa’s in Lewes on Saturday 7th December for a 2km or 4Km fun run starting and finishing from Harvey’s Yard off Harvey’s Way, Lewes.

Lewes Santa Run is back! Get sponsored, get ‘elfy’ and help raise vital funds for profoundly disabled people in Sussex this Christmas at the Lewes Santa Fun Run. We need each of our Lewes Santa’s to raise as much money as possible this Santa Run, to allow profoundly disabled people and their families to get more from life

What are the minimum sponsorship requirements?

Each Santa Runner needs to raise a minimum of £20 in sponsorship to be able to pick up their suit. We can then help give profoundly disabled people like Jonathan, James and their friends a very special Christmas. The Bevern Trust must raise £12,000 every month of the year to help people with complex needs get more from life and to have the wonderful Christmas that many others take for granted.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

You must register for Santa Run in advance – before 4th December 2019, as no tickets can be purchased on the day. You must be in good health or have consulted with your doctor prior to joining the 2km fun run. There are no minimum age requirements but children under 16 must be accompanied by a participating responsible adult.

The organisers or sponsors will not be held responsible for any injury or illness caused to you during or as a result of the fun run or for any property lost during the event. You give your permission for free use of your name, voice or pictures in any broadcast, advertising promotion or other account of this event.

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?

We encourage the use of public transport where possible as Lewes is fully accessible by bus and train. Parking is very limited, so please plan your travel arrangements in advance. Lewes car parks can be found here: https://www.lewes-eastbourne.gov.uk/streets-parking-and-travel/car-parking/

What can I bring into the event?

Buggies and wheelchairs can be pushed around the park, but please consider that the course maybe wet and muddy, depending on the weather. Unfortunately we have no changing facilities to store your belongings during the run and can take no responsibilities for personal items left at the park or in Harvey’s Yard. Well-behaved dogs are welcome on a lead and especially in festive costume!

We recommend you check the weather forecast in advance and dress appropriately, wearing suitable waterproof footwear for wet, uneven ground.

How can I contact the organiser with any questions?

You can email info@beverntrust.org or call 01273 021241 for more information.

What’s the refund policy?

Your Santa Run tickets are non-refundable but they are transerfable. Someone can take your place if you let us know who your replacement will be before 4th December 2019

Should the Event be cancelled due to an event beyond the reasonable control of the Organisers including but not limited to: severe weather, terrorism, act of god, closure of the area by emergency services, medical advice or pandemic you will not be entitled to a full refund of the entry fee.

*Please read full Terms & Conditions HERE. It is strongly recommended that you train and prepare for the run. If you have not exercised before or for sometime, or have a pre-existing medical condition, you should consult your doctor prior to the Event. Santa Run is not a race.
