The countdown to Christmas has begun!
We’re bringing the festive spirit to life throughout our home, with joy and laughter and our residents are thrilled about the festivities coming up and eager to celebrate alongside you!
Our year of fundraising towards the Space to Thrive appeal is progressing well, and we remain on track to reach our fundraising target by March 2026. Work is due to begin on this exciting project midway through 2026, and three essential new spaces will significantly improve the quality of life for everyone involved.
At Bevern View, most activities – crafts, games, music, and socialising – happen in the residents’ lounge. While there’s always a wonderful buzz, it is harder for residents to find a quiet place to relax or enjoy peaceful time with family and friends.
A refurbished lounge space designed just for them would let the fun continue in the dedicated activity room while giving residents choice over where and how they spend their time.
A new office and staff facilities will also ensure our team has the right environment to continue providing the best care.
Big Give Christmas Challenge
We’re delighted to be taking part in the Big Give Christmas Challenge 2025 – the UK’s biggest match-funding campaign!
From 2 – 9 December, every donation will go twice as far thanks to match funding from the Big Give and their Champions and at no extra cost to you – so your £10 becomes £20, your £50 becomes £100, and your generosity goes twice as far in helping our residents.
Help us reach our target of £5,000 – donate if you can and share the link with others when it goes live on 2ndDecember.

We warmly invite you to join us on Friday 19th December for a special celebration as residents, staff, supporters, friends, and family make Christingles and sing carols accompanied by our Bevern band.

We are fundraising this Christmas towards the Space to Thrive appeal, which will enable us to provide three essential new spaces to significantly improve the quality of life for everyone involved. We are aiming to:
- Extend the home: creating a dedicated activity room, equipped with built-in hoists for maximum safety and flexibility alongside cutting-edge sensory equipment, providing our residents with stimulating and engaging experiences in a secure environment.
- Refurbish the lounge: offering a peaceful retreat for relaxation and social interaction, both for our residents and their families outside of the bedroom setting.
- Build a new office and staff break room: giving the care team somewhere to have a vital short break from their long shifts and enhance the team’s wellbeing.
